Ingredients
- 12 oz Self Raising Flour.
- Salt
- 2 oz caster sugar
- 3 oz sultanas
- 1/2 pint milk
- 2 tbsp Malt
- 1 tbsp Treacle
Method
- Melt malt, treacle and milk in a pan.
- Beat in flour.
- Lined tin.
- Medium oven.
I swear this is how I got it. To call it brutally succinct wouldn’t be an exaggeration. I imagine over time and through practising I can do this recipe justice and maybe fill in some of the blanks so any fool can follow along.
