Fran’s Malt Loaf

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Self Raising Flour.
  • Salt
  • 2 oz caster sugar
  • 3 oz sultanas
  • 1/2 pint milk
  • 2 tbsp Malt
  • 1 tbsp Treacle

Method

  1. Melt malt, treacle and milk in a pan.
  2. Beat in flour.
  3. Lined tin.
  4. Medium oven.

I swear this is how I got it. To call it brutally succinct wouldn’t be an exaggeration. I imagine over time and through practising I can do this recipe justice and maybe fill in some of the blanks so any fool can follow along.
